Overview

The KATHREIN WFS 28 is an antenna signal diplexer designed for indoor use, allowing a single coaxial cable to carry both satellite and terrestrial TV/FM signals. It supports a terrestrial frequency range of 47–862 MHz and a satellite range of 950–2200 MHz, with insertion loss below 1.5 dB for terrestrial and below 2.0 dB for satellite. The unit provides isolation greater than 25 dB between paths and a return loss of more than 10 dB, ensuring clean signal separation. It has a 75 Ohm impedance and passes DC on the satellite path up to 24 V / 500 mA. Connectors include one F-connector for the combined output, one F-connector for satellite, and one IEC coaxial connector for terrestrial. The die-cast metal housing offers a shielding factor above 80 dB, and the operating temperature range is -20 to +50 °C.
