The KWB 625620 jigsaw blade set contains six blades made from high carbon steel and high-speed steel, supplied in a plastic cassette. The set combines four woodworking blades with hardened, cross- and hollow-ground teeth designed for quick, clean cuts and insertion teeth for plunge cutting, and two bi-metal metalworking blades with milled and set teeth for cutting sheet metal, profiles and non-ferrous materials up to the specified thicknesses.

Advantages

Four high carbon steel blades provide durable, accurate cuts in wood, chipboard, blockboard, fibreboard and light plastics; hardened and ground teeth improve cutting speed and edge quality. Two flexible bi-metal blades allow cutting of sheet metal and mesh up to 3 mm, tubes and profiles up to 30 mm, and non-ferrous metals such as aluminium and Plexiglas. The blades come in a plastic cassette for organised storage and quick selection.

Key specifications

How to use

Select the blade suitable for the material to be cut and insert it into the jigsaw according to the tool manufacturer’s instructions. For plunge cuts in wood or board materials, use the woodworking blade with insertion teeth. For cutting metal sheets, meshes, tubes or profiles, use a bi-metal blade and run the saw at the recommended speed for metal cutting. Secure the workpiece, wear appropriate personal protective equipment, and allow the blade to reach full speed before engaging the material.

Recommendations

Use the high-carbon woodworking blades for fast, clean cuts in wood and board materials; switch to the bi-metal blades for metal work. Replace blades when wear reduces cutting quality, and store blades in the supplied cassette to protect teeth and simplify selection.
