Before you believe a bad review about us

We would like to respond openly to every negative review about us. Many are posted anonymously, so we cannot reach those customers directly. This open letter is our reply, and we would be grateful if you took a moment to read it.

But here is what a one-star review will never tell you:

  • We import from 70+ official distributors. That is why you pay far less than local retail — and why delivery takes longer. We publish the date before you pay, never after.
  • You can pay only when your goods land in Johannesburg. Pay on Arrival, no full payment up front. Ask yourself what scammer offers that.
  • Nobody has ever lost money with us. You get the product, or you get a refund. There is no third option, and there never has been.
  • We are part of the ITwork group — ten years trading in Europe, nine stores, thousands of positive reviews.
  • Johannesburg and Cape Town stores open this year — real shelves, real stock, walk in and buy the same day.

We are not satisfied with our review scores, and we are not going to fix them by hiding anything. We are fixing them by being faster, clearer and easier to reach than any reason to complain.

Read the full letter — photos and video of real shipments, and a straight answer to every accusation.

Problem with an order right now? Write to [email protected], [email protected] or [email protected] — answered the same business day. The letter also lists our group and store owners' contacts.

The JBL Quantum Stream Wireless with Lightning dongle is a compact clip-on microphone designed for on-the-go content creation. It provides omnidirectional pickup, adjustable environmental noise cancellation, a mute button with LED indicator, and compatibility with the JBL Headphones app. The microphone connects via a 2.4 GHz low-latency wireless Lightning dongle for Apple devices, offers up to 100 m transmission range, and is powered by a built-in Lithium‑Ion battery. With a frequency response of 20–20,000 Hz, 16‑bit bit rate and 48 kHz sample rate, it is suited for clear voice capture in a variety of settings.

Advantages

This lightweight, clip-on microphone delivers clear omnidirectional recordings while allowing adjustable mic gain and environmental noise cancellation. The 2.4 GHz low-latency Lightning dongle provides plug-and-play connection to Apple devices and a transmission range up to 100 meters. A dedicated mute button with LED indicator prevents accidental recording, and the microphone works with the JBL Headphones app for further sound customization. Optional furry windshields improve performance in windy conditions.

Suitable for

  • Vlogging and mobile video recording
  • Live streaming from Apple devices
  • Interviews and field reporting
  • Social media content creation (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube)
  • Podcasts and voice notes on the move

Key specifications

  • Model: JBL Quantum Stream Wireless (MPN: JBLSTRMWLLGHTBLK, EAN: 1200130008887)
  • Connectivity: 2.4 GHz low-latency wireless via Lightning dongle (Apple devices)
  • Pickup pattern: Omnidirectional
  • Frequency response: 20–20,000 Hz
  • Bit rate / Sample rate: 16‑bit / 48 kHz
  • Battery: Built-in Lithium‑Ion (internal)
  • Weight: 11.2 g
  • Color: Black
  • Transmission range: Up to 100 m

How to use

Attach the clip-on microphone to clothing or a mount near the speaker and insert the included 2.4 GHz Lightning dongle into your Apple device to establish a wireless connection. Use the JBL Headphones app to adjust mic gain and environmental noise cancellation for your recording environment. Press the mute button to disable the microphone when needed; the LED indicator shows mute status. For outdoor use, attach the optional furry windshield to reduce wind noise.

Recommendations

For best results, check battery level before long sessions, set mic gain in a quiet test recording to avoid clipping, and use the furry windshield in windy conditions. Maintain the recommended 0–100 m line-of-sight range between microphone and dongle for stable transmission.
