Item Finder Boompods Boomtag & Boomcard Pack Black Battery Life 26298h

The Boompods Boomtag & Boomcard Pack includes a thin, credit-card sized tracker (Boomcard) and a tactile pod-shaped tracker (Boomtag) designed to work with Apple's Find My network. Both devices emit a secure Bluetooth signal that can be picked up by nearby Apple devices and relayed to iCloud, allowing you to see their location in the Find My app. The pack contains two trackers and is powered by replaceable CR2032 batteries with a specified battery life of 26298 hours. The Boomcard is slim enough to fit in a wallet and includes a hole for attachment, while the Boomtag offers a tactile form factor and a loud 94 dB alert to help locate items quickly.

Advantages

Seamless integration with the Apple Find My app provides real-time location updates while maintaining user anonymity and encrypted data transfer. The two-piece pack lets you track multiple items simultaneously. The Boomcard’s credit-card form factor fits in wallets without adding noticeable bulk, and the Boomtag’s pod shape and 94 dB alert make it easy to find misplaced items. Both units are energy-efficient to minimise battery drain and use ocean-bound recycled plastic in their construction.

Install and open the Apple Find My app on a compatible Apple device, then follow the on-screen pairing instructions to add each tracker. Once paired, the trackers broadcast an encrypted Bluetooth signal that is detected by nearby Apple devices in the Find My network and relayed to iCloud. Use the Find My app to view the last known location on a map or to make the Boomtag sound its 94 dB alert to locate items nearby.

Recommendations

Replace the CR2032 battery as soon as the Find My app indicates low battery. For reliable tracking, keep the trackers attached to items exposed to typical daily use and avoid submerging them in water. If you frequently need quick locating, place the Boomtag on items like key rings where the 94 dB alert will be most effective.
