The AXIS Q1808-LE Bullet Camera is an outdoor IP security camera that delivers 4K resolution (3712 x 2784 pixels) with excellent low-light sensitivity. Available with either a wide (12–48 mm) Canon lens for open-area coverage or a tele (50–150 mm) Canon lens for long-distance identification, it features motorized focus, 4x optical zoom (plus an additional 3x on the tele option), and a horizontal field of view from 90° down to 7°. The camera supports PoE and PoE out for powering additional devices, and is built for harsh environments with IP66/IP67, IK10 and NEMA 4X ratings and operating temperatures from -40 °C to 60 °C.

How to use

Mount the camera on a suitable wall bracket in the desired outdoor location, ensuring the chosen lens option (wide or tele) is appropriate for the monitored area. Connect network and power using PoE for single-cable installation or DC power where required; PoE out can be used to power an additional device. Configure orientation and focus using the motorized focus and the camera’s web interface or VMS. Enable Zipstream and storage profile options for optimized bandwidth and recording, and set up analytics and metadata features via the camera’s configuration tools.

Recommendations
