The Intellinet 5-Port Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ Switch with SFP Port provides five Gigabit Ethernet ports, including four high-power PoE+ PSE ports, and one SFP slot. It supports IEEE 802.3at/af Power over Ethernet to deliver both data and up to 30 W of power per port over Cat5e/Cat6 cables, and offers Gigabit uplinks for connection to a network backbone, server or NVR. How to use

Place the switch on a flat surface using the included rubber feet or mount it on a wall using the four built-in mounting holes. Connect the uplink port (RJ45 or SFP) to your network backbone, server or NVR. Attach PoE-compatible devices to the PoE-enabled RJ45 ports using Cat5e or Cat6 cables; the switch will automatically detect and supply power to IEEE 802.3af/at devices. Non-PoE devices can be connected to any remaining ports without affecting operation.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, distribute PoE load across ports to avoid exceeding the 91 W power budget, use quality Cat5e/Cat6 cables for both data and power delivery, and place the switch in a ventilated area away from direct heat sources.
