The InLine USB 3.2 Gen.1 active extension cable with a USB-C male to USB-A female connector extends USB ports up to 15 meters using integrated electronics to preserve signal quality. The 5 m model provides a reliable connection for external hard drives, printers, webcams, headsets, mice, keyboards and other USB devices while supporting data transfer rates up to 5 Gb/s. For extensions of 10 meters or more, the included external power supply is recommended. The cable is compatible with Windows 7 and newer and macOS 10 and newer.

How to use

Connect the USB-C male plug to the host device and the USB-A female end to the peripheral device or its cable. The cable supports Plug and Play, so devices can be connected or disconnected while the system is running. If you use an extension of 10 m or longer, connect the supplied external power supply to the cable to ensure stable operation.

Recommendations

Use the included external power supply for cable lengths of 10 m or more. Do not attempt to cascade multiple active extension cables — this product is not designed for daisy-chaining. For optimal signal quality, avoid tightly coiling the cable and keep it away from strong electromagnetic sources.
