The InLine® USB 2.0 extension cable is designed for the reliable extension of existing USB connections. It enables data transfer at speeds of up to 480 Mb/s in accordance with the USB 2.0 specification and is fully backwards compatible with USB 1.1 and USB 1.0.
The version with a USB-A plug to USB-A socket allows for the straightforward extension of existing connection cables. This enables USB peripherals to be positioned flexibly and installation routes to be optimised.
The double-shielded cable reduces external interference and ensures stable signal transmission. The various length options, ranging from 0.3 metres to 5 metres, offer a tailored solution for different installation requirements.

How to use

Plug the Type A male connector into the host device (for example, a computer or hub) and connect the Type A female end to the peripheral’s USB Type A plug. Ensure connections are fully seated. The cable requires no drivers; the connected devices will use the host system’s USB drivers and negotiate the highest supported transfer speed automatically.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid routing the cable near strong electromagnetic sources and keep the extension length within recommended limits for USB 2.0.
