The InLine® USB 2.0 active extension with USB-A plug to USB-A socket offers a powerful solution for professional use where USB connections over longer distances are required. Thanks to the integrated signal amplification, your data connections remain stable and interference-free even with cable lengths of up to 25 meters.

This cable is ideal for connecting external hard drives, keyboards, mice or other USB-A peripherals in offices, public authorities or industrial facilities. Thanks to the UL certification, the product can also be used in the US market without any problems. The high-quality workmanship ensures a long service life even with frequent use.

The optional power supply via an additional USB-C port on the receiver side allows the operation of devices with higher power requirements. Installation is plug & play, without any additional drivers or software.

How to use

Plug the USB-A male connector of the active extension into the host computer or hub USB-A port, then connect your USB device to the USB-A female connector. Ensure both ends are fully inserted to maintain a secure connection. No additional drivers are required for standard USB 2.0 devices. If using powered devices with high current draw, connect the device to a powered hub if necessary.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, avoid sharp bends and strong electromagnetic interference near the cable. If a connected device requires high current (for example some external hard drives), use a powered USB hub or connect the drive to a power source to prevent under-powering through the extension.
