The InLine® Slimline SATA cable is a functional connection solution for optical drives with a slimline SATA connection. The 13-pin Slimline SATA connector combines data and power signals and enables the integration of corresponding drives into systems with standard SATA interfaces. Data is transferred via a SATA 7-pin connector, while the separate 2-pin power cable supplies the drive with power.
The separate cable routing allows the cables to be positioned flexibly in the housing, which supports structured installation. The cable lengths of approx. 0.4 m for the data line and approx. 0.15 m for the power line are designed for short internal connections and reduce unnecessary cable lengths. How to use

Power off the computer and unplug it from the mains before installing the cable. Insert the 13-pin Slimline connector into the Slim SATA optical drive’s socket, ensuring correct orientation, and connect the 7-pin SATA end to an available SATA port on the motherboard. If required, ensure the drive receives power via the combined power contact or separate power connector according to your drive and chassis design. After connections are secure, restore power and verify drive detection in the BIOS or operating system.
