This InLine® power adapter cable with C14 (IEC 3165) to EAC (IEC 3165) socket serves as a practical connection solution for professional power distribution. It enables the operation of devices with earthed plugs on C14 sockets, such as those typically found on UPS systems or PDUs in 19" network cabinets.
The rating of up to 2500 W at 10 A and 250 V allows for the reliable operation of numerous active components within existing IT infrastructures. The adapter cable is particularly suitable when existing C14 sockets need to be used flexibly without altering the existing power distribution.

How to use

Insert the IEC C14 coupler into the corresponding C14 outlet on the UPS, PDU or other equipment. Connect the Schutzkontakt female end to the device's protective-earth plug. Ensure connectors are fully seated and that the connected device's power draw does not exceed 2500 W. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain.

Recommendations

Check the voltage and current ratings of both the power source and the device before use, and avoid using the cable in wet or excessively hot environments. For rack installations, secure the cable to prevent tension on connectors.
