The InLine® Slim Cat.6A S/FTP patch cable seriescombines highest network performance with maximum space and energy efficiency. Thanks to the particularly slim design with AWG28 conductors, these cables enable a significantly higher port density in network cabinets and ensure improved air circulation, which increases cooling and efficiency.

In contrast to conventional, thinner AWG32 cables, this cable supports full Cat.6A transmission quality at up to 500 MHzand 4PPoEwith up to87 watts. This makes it the ideal solution for professional applications where a combination of space-saving, PoE capability and high performance is required.

The use of high-quality copper conductors minimizes signal loss and ensures a reliable network connection - even over distances of up to 30 metres. The S/FTP double shielding reliably protects the cable from electromagnetic interference.

How to use

Connect the RJ-45 plugs to network ports on switches, patch panels or devices, ensuring secure insertion until the latch clicks. Route the cable using standard cable management practices to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress; the slim TPE jacket allows flexible routing in trays and conduits. For PoE devices, connect one end to a PoE-enabled switch or injector and the other end to the powered device to deliver both data and power over the same cable.

Recommendations

To maintain performance, avoid sharp bends and excessive tensile force; observe minimum bend radius specified by installers. Use appropriate cable management and avoid running the cable parallel to high-power electrical lines to minimise interference.
