The InLine® Slim Cat.6A S/FTP patch cable seriescombines highest network performance with maximum space and energy efficiency. Thanks to the particularly slim design with AWG28 conductors, these cables enable a significantly higher port density in network cabinets and ensure improved air circulation, which increases cooling and efficiency.

In contrast to conventional, thinner AWG32 cables, this cable supports full Cat.6A transmission quality at up to 500 MHzand 4PPoEwith up to87 watts. This makes it the ideal solution for professional applications where a combination of space-saving, PoE capability and high performance is required.

The use of high-quality copper conductors minimizes signal loss and ensures a reliable network connection - even over distances of up to 30 metres. The S/FTP double shielding reliably protects the cable from electromagnetic interference.

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (switch, router, patch panel) and the other RJ-45 plug to the target device (PC, IP camera, access point). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to guarantee a secure contact. Route the slim cable through cable management or trays as needed; its flexible TPE jacket supports bending in confined spaces. For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends and keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources where possible.

Recommendations

For stable 10 Gbit/s operation in long installations, use quality switches and patch panels rated for Cat.6A. When deploying near power lines or heavy equipment, maintain separation to reduce possible interference. Inspect connectors for damage before installation and replace the cable if the jacket or plugs are compromised.
