The InLine® Cat.6 patch cables with S/FTP shielding (PiMf) are specially designed for professional network installations in IT, industry, and public institutions. They support Gigabit connections at frequencies up to 250 MHz and offer impressive transmission reliability thanks to the combination of overall braided shielding and paired metal foil shielding. The solid copper strands in AWG27 format ensure reliable, low-loss signal transmission even over longer distances. The RJ45 connectors, molded on both sides, are equipped with kink protection, snap-on protection, and a red marking—ideal for quick identification during installation. In addition, the cable length is indicated directly on the connector, which simplifies organization in the server cabinet or patch panel. The halogen-free sheath protects against toxic gases in the event of a fire and thus meets the requirements of safety-critical applications. The cables are assigned 1:1 in accordance with EIA/TIA-568B.

How to use

Plug one RJ‑45 connector into the network port of your switch, router or wall socket and the other connector into the device you want to connect (PC, NAS, access point, etc.). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to power lines over long distances.

Recommendations

For stable gigabit performance, use the cable within its specified length and frequency limits (15 m, up to 250 MHz). Inspect connectors for damage before use and replace the cable if the sheath or connectors are worn. When installing in racks or conduits, leave service loops and avoid excessive bending around tight corners.
