InLine Patch cable armoured, U/FTP, Cat.6A, black, 1.5m

The InLine® Cat.6A armoured patch cable (1.5 m, black) is a durable U/FTP Ethernet cable designed for demanding network installations. It combines an inner SUS204 stainless steel jacket and a highly elastic PVC outer sheath with full shielding and HDPE core insulation to ensure mechanical protection and signal integrity in environments exposed to heavy foot traffic, weather, pests or rodents. The cable is terminated with fully shielded 8P8C (RJ-45) plugs with 50 µ" gold-plated contacts and supports PoE up to 90 W for reliable high-speed data transmission.

How to use

Connect the InLine® Cat.6A patch cable between RJ-45 ports on network devices such as switches, routers, patch panels or PoE endpoints. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and the shielded plugs mate with shielded equipment or patch panels to maintain grounding continuity. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and crushing points; respect the minimum bend radius and secure with suitable ties that do not compress the armouring.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable within specified temperature limits and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or standing water. When using PoE, verify device power budgets and connection ratings. For installations requiring permanent outdoor exposure, provide additional weatherproofing or conduit despite the armoured design.
