The InLine® 76620P interface card expands existing PCs or industrial systems with two external PS/2 ports and an internal USB 2.0 pin header. This makes it particularly suitable for applications where classic input devices such as PS/2 keyboards or mice are still in use.
The integrated USB pin header allows the connection of internal USB devices – for example, for front panel connections, fan controllers or card readers. The optional 4-pin power connector provides additional power for USB devices.
The card is based on the Moschip MCS9990 chipset and supports PCI Express V1.1 (x1). Thanks to its broad compatibility, it is ideal for use in special or service environments, such as industrial plants, test benches or IT restoration.
Drivers are available for Windows from version 2000 and Linux systems from kernel 2.6.x.

How to use

Power down the PC, open the case and insert the interface card into an available PCIe expansion slot. Secure the card to the case and close the cover. If you need to use the internal USB header, connect an appropriate internal USB cable from the card's header to the device or front-panel connector. After powering on, install any necessary drivers provided by the operating system or manufacturer. Connect PS/2 keyboard and mouse to the rear PS/2 sockets as required.

Recommendations

Install the card while the system is powered off and grounded to avoid electrostatic damage. Use a compatible internal USB cable for reliable connection and ensure drivers are up to date for best compatibility with Windows or Linux systems.
