The InLine installation cable Cat.7a PiMF 4x2x0.58 (AWG23) in LSZH jacket is supplied on a cardboard drum box for simple unwinding and measurement on site. The orange S-FTP cable supports transmission up to 1200 MHz, uses full copper conductors and pair-in-metal-foil (PiMF) construction with overall braid shielding. Meter-printing along the sheath and a halogen-free outer jacket make it suitable for indoor installations where low smoke and zero halogen emission are required.

How to use

Unpack the drum box and place the plastic roller in the intended mounting position or simply use the box on the floor to pull out the required length. Cut the cable to length at the meter markings, strip the outer LSZH sheath and individual pair shieldings according to the connector or outlet manufacturer instructions, and terminate using appropriate connectors for Cat.7a/S-FTP cables. Follow standard practices for maintaining pair integrity and shielding continuity during termination and grounding.

Recommendations

Use the drum box packaging for quick, small-quantity deployments to reduce handling time. For runs longer than 300 m or for permanent reel-based installations, choose the 500 m cable drum option. Store and install the cable within the specified temperature range and avoid sharp bends to maintain performance.
