How to use

Connect the M12 D-coded male connector to the compatible M12 Ethernet port on the field device and plug the RJ45 connector into the switch, PLC or network socket. Route the cable avoiding sharp edges and excessive bending radii; secure with appropriate clips or cable ties if needed. Inspect connectors for contamination before mating and ensure both ends are fully seated to maintain reliable data transmission.

Recommendations

For best long-term performance, avoid tight bending near the connector ends, protect the cable from crushing and extreme temperatures, and perform periodic visual checks for damage. Replace the cable if the jacket or connector shows significant wear.
