HDMI 1.4:
This InLine HDMI cable with specification 1.4 supports 3D content and also has an Ethernet channel and an audio return channel. The audio return channel (ARC) transmits audio signals from the TV to the AV receiver, for example. This allows a speaker system to be integrated into the multimedia setup without additional cables. The Ethernet channel enables network connections between HDMI devices. Significantly higher resolutions than Full HD up to 4kx2k (@30Hz) are supported up to a distance of 5m. (only applies to the flat cable version).

If your 4k HDMI devices or their connections only support a bandwidth of 4k@30Hz, the InLine HDMI cable is suitable for connecting these components. Especially for 4k applications with a low refresh rate such as normal film playback, image editing, presentations and general work on the computer, this bandwidth is sufficient.

Gaming consoles:For older gaming consoles with a resolution of only 1080p, this cable supports a smoother gaming experience due to the higher frame rate of 60 frames per second. Examples of older games consoles include Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox 360, Nintendo Switch and Wii U.

Playback devices:Full HD and / or 3D televisions, projectors or monitors as well as corresponding first-generation 4k devices (4k@30Hz).

Flat cable:
Due to its flat cable design, this HDMI cable from InLine is thinner and more flexible than round cables. Gold-plated contacts

How to use

Insert one HDMI Type A connector into the HDMI output of your source device (Blu-ray player, streaming player, game console or PC) and the other connector into the HDMI input of the display device (TV, projector or monitor). If your setup uses ARC, connect the cable between the TV’s HDMI ARC port and the AV receiver’s HDMI ARC port to enable audio return. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and avoid sharp bends near the connector ends. For concealed routing, lay the flat cable along walls or under furniture, keeping it flat to prevent kinks.

Recommendations

For reliable 4k@30Hz performance use the cable at its 1.5 m length or keep flat-cable runs under 5 m; for longer runs expect reduced 4k capability and prefer 1080p@60Hz. Avoid excessive bending at the connector ends and keep contacts free of dust to preserve signal quality and connector life.
