The InLine® HDD mounting frame allows the installation of up to three 2.5-inch HDDs or SSDs in a 5.25-inch drive bay of a desktop PC. This makes the solution ideal for expanding the storage capacity of existing systems or for integrating multiple drives into workstations and server environments.
The frame supports IDE and SATA drives with a height of up to 9.5 mm. The design is purely mechanical and requires no additional electronics or backplane. Data and power are supplied directly via the respective drive connections.
The set consists of the mounting frame for installation in the 5.25-inch bay and matching screws for securing the drives and the frame in the case.

How to use

Position the bracket inside a free 5.25" drive bay and align it with the bay mounting holes. Secure the bracket to the case using the included screws. Mount each 2.5" HDD or SSD into the bracket using the provided screws, ensuring connectors face the desired direction for cable access. After installation, connect power and data cables to each drive and verify that they are recognized by the system BIOS or operating system.

Recommendations

Confirm bay compatibility and internal cable clearance before installation. Use appropriate anti-static precautions when handling drives. For optimal cooling, maintain adequate airflow in the case and monitor drive temperatures during heavy use.
