The InLine® AmpEQ is a compact hi-fi headphone amplifier with integrated 3-band equalizer for individual sound control. Thanks to treble, mid-range and bass controls, audio sources can be specifically adjusted - ideal for professional sound assessments or demanding applications at the workplace.
The AmpEQ also offers a loudness function that provides more fullness of sound at low levels. The equalizer can be activated or deactivated with a switch to quickly switch between unprocessed and adjusted sound. The signal processing is analog, which preserves a natural sound character.
Two 3.5 mm line inputs allow you to connect various sources. Separate outputs for headphones (equalizer & amplification) and an additional line OUT (equalizer signal) enable flexible application scenarios - e.g. as an intermediate stage in the audio setup or as a tone control in the monitoring area. Balance and volume controls round off the features.
The amplifier supports headphones with impedances from 16 to 600 ohms and offers stereo crosstalk of 90 dB. How to use

Connect the preamp's USB cable to a USB power source. Plug the audio source or playback device into the 3.5 mm input and connect your headphones to the 3.5 mm output. Use the three EQ controls to adjust bass, midrange and treble to taste, and engage the loudness button when listening at low volumes to restore perceived fullness. Make small incremental adjustments to avoid excessive amplification or distortion.
