The InLine® interface card 76666G expands professional systems with four USB 3.2 Gen.1 ports – two directly external and two via an enclosed slot bracket, which is connected via an internal 19-pin header. This makes the card ideal for applications with diverse USB requirements.
It is based on the reliable VIA VL805 chipset and offers a data transfer rate of up to 5 Gb/s – ideal for fast communication with peripheral devices such as SSDs, RAID systems, printers or cameras. Support for the USB Attached SCSI Protocol (UASP) further accelerates data transfer, which is particularly advantageous when using modern mass storage devices.
The card is PCIe V2.0-compatible and offers single-lane performance with high stability. It complies with both the USB 3.x specification Revision 1.0 and the USB 2.0 specification and supports legacy functions.

How to use

Power off the computer and install the card into an available PCIe slot on the motherboard. Secure the low-profile bracket in the case and connect a SATA power cable from the system power supply to the card’s SATA power connector. After booting the system, install any required drivers if the operating system does not recognize the controller automatically. Connect USB devices to the external or internal ports as needed.

Recommendations

Use a dedicated SATA power cable and avoid overloading the card with multiple high-power devices at the same time. For best performance, connect high-speed storage devices to the external USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and ensure your system PCIe slot supports the required bandwidth.
