The BlueOptics Q28-AOC-25M-IB-BO is a 25 m active optical cable (AOC) with QSFP28 connectors on both ends, designed for 100G high-speed transmissions in data centers and high-performance computing environments. It uses OM3 multimode fibre with a 50 µm core diameter and an LSZH (low-smoke, zero-halogen) outer sheath for reduced smoke and no halogen emissions in case of fire. The built-in optical-electrical I/O converters in the QSFP28 transceiver housings enable reliable conversion between electrical and optical signals for connections within racks or between adjacent racks.
