The ICY BOX IB-170SK-B is a 5.25" storage drive tray for one 3.5" SATA hard disk drive with a maximum height of 1". It installs into a standard 5.25" bay and supports SATA I/II/III transfer rates up to 6 Gbit/s using a high-quality NSS (no scratch SATA) connector. The tray is made of aluminium for improved heat dissipation and comes in black. AC and SATA cables are included for easy connection.

How to use

Slide the 3.5" HDD into the tray ensuring the drive height does not exceed 1" and connect it to the internal SATA connector. Mount the tray into an empty 5.25" bay and secure it according to your chassis instructions. Connect the supplied AC and SATA cables inside the system. The unit supports HotSwap and Plug & Play, so drives can be replaced while the system is running if your motherboard and OS also support HotSwap.
