It meets physical and electrical characteristics expected for this laptop series and is intended as a direct user-replaceable power source.

Advantages

This lithium‑ion battery offers a compact, lightweight design and a 2800 mAh capacity that balances energy density with moderate weight. The product is built to match the form factor and connector layout of compatible HP 245 G6 models, enabling simple installation without tools in most cases. The chemistry provides stable discharge characteristics and a relatively low self-discharge rate, supporting reliable daily use and predictable battery life during typical office, web and multimedia tasks.

Suitable for

• Replacing a worn or failing battery in HP 245 G6 laptops
• Extending unplugged usage time for office applications and web browsing
• Maintaining mobile productivity for students and professionals
• Field work where access to mains power is limited

Key specifications

• Battery technology: Lithium‑Ion (Li‑Ion)
• Nominal capacity: 2800 mAh
• Form factor: internal laptop battery designed to fit HP 245 G6 battery bay
• Typical use: powers notebook components including motherboard, display and peripherals

How to use

Power off the laptop and disconnect any external power adapter before replacing the battery. Remove the service access panel or battery latch according to the laptop manufacturer's instructions, slide the battery into place aligning the contacts, and secure it until it clicks or locks. Reconnect the main power and start the system; the operating system should detect the new battery and display charge status. Calibrate the new battery by charging it to full and then allowing a full discharge cycle once or twice to help reporting accuracy.

Recommendations

Store and operate the battery within recommended temperature ranges, avoid exposure to high heat or moisture, and use the laptop's power management settings to optimise battery life. If the device will not be used for extended periods, store the battery at roughly 40–60% charge in a cool, dry place. Replace the battery if you notice significantly reduced run time, swelling, or unusual heat during charging or use.
