Household tower fan Philips 5000 series White CX5535/00

The Philips 5000 series White CX5535/00 is a household tower fan designed for floor placement. It provides targeted airflow and cooling with a compact footprint (310 mm width and depth) and a height of 1048 mm. The unit runs on AC power at 220–240 V with a power consumption of 40 W and has a net weight of 4.5 kg. Its white finish and slim profile make it suitable for a variety of interior settings where steady airflow and low power use are required.

Advantages

The CX5535/00 delivers continuous airflow using a tower design that distributes air across a vertical area, reducing hot spots and improving comfort. Its low 40 W power consumption helps maintain energy-efficient operation while the 220–240 V compatibility ensures ready use in typical household electrical systems. The fan's compact 310 x 310 mm base and 1048 mm height provide stable floor placement without occupying excessive floor space, and the 4.5 kg weight makes the unit easy to move between rooms when needed.

How to use

Place the Philips 5000 series tower fan on a flat, stable floor surface at least a few centimetres away from walls or furniture to allow unobstructed airflow. Connect the power cord to a compatible 220–240 V AC outlet and use the controls on the unit (or remote if provided) to select the desired fan speed and mode. Adjust the orientation or oscillation setting if available to target airflow across the room. Turn off and unplug the fan before cleaning or moving it.

Recommendations

For safe and effective operation, keep the intake and outlet free of dust and obstructions, avoid placing the fan in damp locations, and follow standard electrical safety practices. Regularly wipe external surfaces with a dry or slightly damp cloth and consult the user manual for any specific maintenance guidance.
