This pack of three magnetic studs is designed for use with the MOBILIS holster for pistol-grip terminals (reference 031015). Each magnet screws into the metal base of the holster and lets you attach the holster to any ferrous surface without drilling. The set provides a combined adhesion force of 42 kg (14 kg per magnet), which is suitable for intensive use and secure handling of a terminal in its pistol-grip holster. Screws and the supplied Allen (BTR) key are included. Magnets should be installed in a vertical orientation to prevent shear stress.

How to use

Position each magnetic stud into the corresponding hole in the metal base of the MOBILIS holster and tighten using the supplied screws and Allen key. Place the assembled holster on a clean, flat ferrous surface in a vertical orientation so the magnets bear load without shear. Check the fixation after installation to confirm a secure hold before placing the terminal into the pistol-grip holster.

Recommendations

Install magnets vertically and avoid lateral loads that could cause shearing. Regularly inspect the screws and holding force during intensive use and re-tighten screws if necessary. Do not use on non-ferrous surfaces without appropriate metal backing.
