HJC CALIDO Purple Cycling Helmet, PURPLE VIOLET, Size M

The HJC CALIDO Purple Cycling Helmet in PURPLE VIOLET, Size M is a unisex, lightweight in-mold helmet designed for adult cyclists with a head circumference of 55–59 cm. It combines a compact profile and integrated ventilation to provide a balance of protection and comfort for everyday riding. The helmet uses HJC's SELFIT™ fitting technology and a 5-step matching system to allow micro-adjustments to the fit, and secures with a buckle clasp. Four ventilation holes support air circulation while the 280 g shell keeps overall weight low. The helmet does not include a visor and is supplied as a single unit.

Advantages

The in-mold construction offers reliable impact absorption while maintaining a slim, durable outer shell. SELFIT™ and the 5-step fitting system enable quick, precise adjustment for a snug and consistent fit across the 55–59 cm head range. With only 280 g of weight, the helmet reduces neck strain during longer rides. Built-in ventilation holes promote airflow to help manage heat and moisture. The buckle clasp provides a secure and simple fastening method suitable for everyday use.

How to use

Place the helmet level on your head so it sits low on the forehead without tilting back. Adjust the SELFIT™ system and 5-step fitting mechanism until the helmet feels snug but not tight. Fasten the buckle clasp and adjust the side straps to form a V shape under each ear; tighten the chin strap so two fingers fit between the strap and the chin. Check that the helmet stays in place when you shake your head. Ensure the ventilation holes are unobstructed for airflow. Store the helmet in a dry, cool place away from direct heat when not in use.

Recommendations

Inspect the helmet before each ride for cracks, deformation, or damaged straps. Replace the helmet after any significant impact or if visible damage is found. Follow storage guidance to avoid prolonged exposure to heat or moisture, and replace the helmet according to manufacturer safety guidelines if materials show signs of wear.
