How to use

Select the correct size and adjust the Speed Lacing to obtain even tension from toe to ankle: use the lower lace guides for quick volume adjustment and the upper lace lock and hooks to create a progressive, comfortable wrap around the ankle. Use these boots for day hikes, loaded or unloaded treks and routes with wet or slippery sections; the GORE-TEX lining will keep feet dry while the Salix Trek outsole improves traction. Clean off mud and debris after use, dry at room temperature away from direct heat and reapply a suitable water-repellent treatment for the upper when the original DWR begins to wear off.

Recommendations

For best performance and longevity, resoling is recommended before outsole wear becomes excessive. Use boot-specific care products for suede and reapply a PFAS-free DWR treatment when needed.
