The Thermaltake MS-1 M.2 2280 SSD Cooler is a compact heatsink assembly designed specifically for M.2 Gen 5 NVMe SSDs. It combines an active micro blower fan, a direct-contact copper heat pipe and an aluminum heatsink to reduce SSD temperatures and preserve sustained high read/write performance during heavy loads.

Advantages

The cooler uses an 8000 RPM micro blower fan that directs airflow through the fin stack with a rated airflow of 0.44 CFM and static pressure of 1.6 mm-H2O while producing about 16 dB(A) of noise. A Ø6 mm copper heat pipe makes direct contact with the SSD for improved thermal transfer, and the eight-fin aluminum heatsink spreads heat evenly to increase dissipation. How to use

Install the MS-1 over a compatible M.2 2280 SSD according to the motherboard and cooler instructions: secure the SSD to the M.2 slot, align the cooler so the heat pipe makes direct contact with the drive controller and NAND area, and fasten it using the supplied mounting hardware or screws. Connect the fan header to the appropriate 5V or motherboard fan connector if required. Verify clearance with nearby components before final assembly.
