HDMI cable VivoLink PROHDMIOP70AM-DRUM 70 m, HDMI Type A male–male, HDMI 2.0, 18 Gbit/s, 4096×2160, black

VivoLink PROHDMIOP70AM-DRUM is a professional 70 m HDMI Type A male-to-male optical cable supplied on a robust cable drum for safe transport, handling and storage. The cable supports the HDMI 2.0 specification with up to 18 Gbit/s bandwidth and maximum resolution up to 4096×2160 (4K/60 Hz). Gold-plated connector pins and a molded metal cable head improve contact reliability, while an integrated connector compartment in the drum protects the connector during reeling. The slim 4.0 mm cable construction includes Kevlar reinforcement, copper-covered optical fiber and a high-quality optical converter chipset designed for long-run AV installations.

Advantages

The cable combines optical transmission with copper elements to deliver low attenuation over long distances and stable 4K video at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma sampling. A reinforced core with Kevlar filling and a molded metal head provide high mechanical strength and reduced risk of damage during installation. The drum's extra-high flange and connector compartment simplify reeling and secure connector storage, reducing connector rotation and strain. The product supports HDR, HDCP2.2, 3D, ARC and common audio formats for compatibility with professional AV systems.

Suitable for

• Long-distance AV links in conference rooms and auditoriums
• Digital signage and retail displays requiring 4K resolution
• Studio and broadcast setups where extended HDMI runs are needed
• Temporary event installations and on-site presentations
• Fixed installations in venues where a compact, robust cable must be stowed and managed

How to use

Unwind the required length of VivoLink PROHDMIOP70AM-DRUM from the drum, keeping the connector secured in the integrated compartment until ready to plug in. Connect HDMI Type A male ends to the source and display devices ensuring firm seating of the gold-plated contacts. Avoid sharp bends near the connector and maintain the minimum bend radius of 20 mm along the run. For permanent installations, secure the cable along supports or cable trays to reduce mechanical stress and avoid placing heavy loads directly on the cable.

Recommendations

When installing over long distances, route the cable away from high-voltage power lines and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Use the drum to store and transport the cable to protect the connector; always stow the connector in the drum compartment during reeling. Do not exceed the specified tensile strength when pulling the cable, and keep the operating temperature range in mind for outdoor or non-conditioned spaces.
