Savio CL-142 v2.1 is a 1.8 m HDMI Type A male–male cable designed to deliver high-bandwidth audio and video between source devices and displays. The cable supports HDMI 2.1 features including up to 8K@120Hz resolution, Dynamic HDR and Game Mode VRR, while gold-plated 24k contacts, oxygen-free copper conductors and full shielding reduce signal loss and external interference. The braided cotton outer sheath with metal plugs provides mechanical durability and a professional appearance in black and blue.

Advantages

The cable supports high refresh rates (240Hz and 144Hz at Full HD, 120Hz at 8K) and a maximum video bit rate of 42.6 Gbit/s with TMDS up to 48 Gbit/s, enabling smooth motion and detailed imagery for gaming and fast-moving content. Ethernet capability and audio return channel are included, along with support for Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, 3D and Deep Color. Construction features such as 24k gold-plated plugs, OFC (99.96% purity) conductors and full shielding help maintain reliable signal transfer and reduce degradation over the 1.8 m length.

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A plug to the HDMI output on your source device (PC, console, laptop, set-top box) and the other plug to the HDMI input on your display or AV receiver. Ensure both devices are powered on and use the display input selection menu to choose the corresponding HDMI port. For highest performance, enable the appropriate HDMI/VRR/HDR settings in device menus and select compatible resolution and refresh rate in the display or source settings. If using ARC, enable ARC/eARC in both TV and receiver settings as required.

Recommendations

For optimal results, use the Savio CL-142 v2.1 cable at its full 1.8 m length without sharp bends or kinks, avoid heavy mechanical strain on the connectors, and route the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources. When using high resolutions and refresh rates (8K@120Hz, high-FPS gaming), verify that both source and display firmware and settings support HDMI 2.1 features to achieve expected performance.
