Habotest HT605 is a handheld digital anemometer for measuring wind speed, air temperature and airflow volume. The device features an eight-bladed impeller, an LCD with backlight and a data hold function. It is battery powered (3×AAA included) and notifies the user of low battery status.

How to use

Turn on the device and position the anemometer so the impeller faces the airflow. Use the unit selection button to choose the preferred speed unit (m/s, km/h, mph, ft/s or knots). Readings appear on the backlit LCD; press the data hold button to freeze a value for recording. Use MAX/MIN to view peak or minimum values. To measure temperature switch between °C and °F if needed. The instrument will shut down automatically to preserve battery life and displays a low battery indicator when replacement is required.

Recommendations

For more reliable results, hold the meter steady and ensure the impeller is unobstructed. Avoid placing the sensor too close to surfaces that cause turbulence and allow the reading to stabilize before recording.
