GreenBlue GB505 Sunscreen UV 5 m Square Polyester Outdoor Canopy

GreenBlue GB505 Sunscreen UV 5 m Square Polyester Outdoor Canopy is a large, freestanding shade solution designed to reduce sun exposure and create a comfortable outdoor sheltered area. Constructed from polyester fabric with UV-resistant properties, the square 5-metre canopy provides wide coverage for gardens, patios, beaches and other open-air locations. The canopy is intended for use as a temporary or seasonal shelter, offering protection while remaining lightweight and easy to position.

Advantages

The canopy delivers broad, uniform shade across a 5-metre square footprint while maintaining a compact storage profile when folded. Its polyester material offers UV resistance to limit direct sunlight and help protect skin and furnishings. As a freestanding unit it can be used independently or as an accessory to existing garden furniture setups. The design focuses on practical outdoor use: quick deployment, straightforward positioning and compatibility with common anchoring or weighting methods to improve stability.

Suitable for

• Providing shade for family gatherings and outdoor dining on patios or terraces
• Creating shelter at the beach to reduce sun exposure for adults and children
• Temporary cover for garden parties, barbeques or market stands
• Sun protection during outdoor leisure activities such as reading or relaxing

Key specifications

• Shape: square
• Coverage area: 5 metres x 5 metres
• Fabric material: polyester with UV-resistant treatment
• Intended use: outdoor canopy for shade and sun protection
• Installation type: freestanding (can be anchored or weighted for stability)

How to use

To set up, unfold the canopy and position it on a flat, stable area. Secure the frame and extend the fabric so the canopy forms a taut, even plane. For freestanding use, place the legs or supporting posts according to the manufacturer’s alignment marks and check that the canopy is level. When installing on soft ground such as sand or lawn, use appropriate anchors or pegs; on hard surfaces use weights or ballast to prevent movement. Fold and store the canopy in a dry place when not in use to preserve the fabric and UV coating.

Recommendations

Regularly inspect the polyester fabric and support structure for wear, loose fittings or damage. Avoid exposure to strong winds and heavy rain; retract or remove the canopy in adverse weather to prevent fabric stretching or structural stress. Clean the fabric with mild soap and water, allow it to dry completely before storage, and use suitable anchors or weights for safe operation on different surfaces.
