HP NVIDIA RTX A400 4GB GDDR6 Graphics Card, 4x Mini DisplayPort (9U277AA)

The HP NVIDIA PH x4xx 3mDP 4GB GDDR5 graphics card delivers a balance of performance and compatibility for desktops used in gaming, creative workflows, and multi-monitor office setups. Equipped with a dedicated GPU and 4GB of GDDR5 memory, the card is designed to render complex scenes, accelerate GPU-optimized tasks, and provide responsive visual output. Three DisplayPort outputs enable flexible display arrangements, while the card’s architecture supports common APIs and drivers for stable operation in professional and consumer systems.

Advantages

The card’s 4GB of GDDR5 memory provides steady framebuffer capacity for full HD and some higher-resolution workloads, while the NVIDIA-based architecture accelerates graphics and compute tasks. Multiple DisplayPort outputs allow concurrent connection of three monitors without additional adapters. The design focuses on reliability and broad driver support, making it suitable for sustained workloads such as editing, rendering, and multi-window productivity.

Suitable for

• Gaming at 1080p and eSports titles with medium to high settings
• Graphic design and photo editing applications
• Video editing and playback acceleration for HD projects
• Multi-monitor office setups and productivity workstations
• GPU-accelerated compute tasks in compatible software

Key specifications

• Video memory: 4 GB GDDR5
• Display outputs: 3 × DisplayPort
• Form factor: standard low-profile/standard full-height bracket compatibility (check system compatibility)
• Interface: PCI Express x16
• Supported APIs: DirectX and OpenGL versions supported by NVIDIA drivers (refer to driver release notes for exact versions)

How to use

Install the graphics card into an available PCI Express x16 slot in a powered-off desktop, secure the bracket, and connect any required auxiliary power according to the system’s power supply capabilities. After booting, install the latest NVIDIA drivers provided by HP or from NVIDIA to ensure proper recognition and optimal performance. Configure display settings through the operating system or NVIDIA control panel to arrange multiple monitors and set resolution, refresh rate, and color profiles.
