Place the frame as a visible cover over the installed switch or socket mechanism in a standard single-gang flush-mounted box. For dry-room use install according to IP20 guidelines. If the switch, push button or socket outlet with hinged cover should be water-protected in a humid room, fit the corresponding Gira sealing set or complete cover-and-seal kit and follow the manufacturer’s installation instructions to achieve IP44 protection. Fit and secure without visible screws to preserve the screwless appearance.
