How to use

Install the GC-TPM2.0 SPI V2 by inserting the module into the TPM header on a compatible GIGABYTE motherboard, ensuring the board is powered off and the connector orientation matches the header. After physical installation, enable TPM in the motherboard BIOS/UEFI if required. Within Windows, use platform tools such as Windows Security or BitLocker setup to initialize the TPM, create and store encryption keys, and enable full-disk encryption or other TPM-backed features.

Recommendations

Ensure your motherboard includes a compatible TPM header before purchase and confirm BIOS/UEFI support for TPM 2.0. Keep firmware and OS security updates current and back up recovery keys when enabling BitLocker or other encryption tied to TPM to prevent data loss.
