The Gedore 1761080 tool cart accessory is a socket rail designed to hold standard 6.3 mm (1/4") commercial sockets and to accept common drive accessories. With a 34 mm depth it offers compact, secure storage for sockets and related drive tools, improving organization and accessibility at the workbench or on a tool cart. Delivery does not include sockets or other tools.

Advantages

This socket rail accepts 13 standard 6.3 mm (1/4") sockets on external squares and includes two female square adaptors to mount ratchets, sliding T-bars, extensions and similar drive tools. A strong magnet secures the rail to ferrous metal surfaces, while additional mounting holes allow fixed attachment to walls or non-ferrous materials. Sockets lock on the square-drive by turning 90° and are easily released by turning back 90°.

How to use

Mount the rail temporarily by placing the magnetic side against a ferrous surface or secure it permanently using screws through the provided holes for attachment to walls or non-ferrous materials. Place sockets onto the external squares and turn each socket 90° to lock it in place. Fit ratchets, sliding T-bars or extensions into the female adaptors as needed. To remove sockets, turn them 90° in the opposite direction and pull them off.

Recommendations

For safe and reliable operation, use only standard 6.3 mm (1/4") commercial sockets. Ensure the magnetic surface is clean for secure holding, and when mounting to non-ferrous surfaces use appropriate fasteners for the substrate and load.
