The GARDENA Drip Irrigation Line 1.6 l/h (50 m) is a dripline with integrated drip heads designed for water-saving irrigation of plant rows such as hedges, bushes and shrubs. It can be laid above ground or installed out of sight below ground and is compatible as an extension to the Micro‑Drip‑Irrigation Sets for hedges and bushes (art. no. 13500‑20 and 13501‑20).

Advantages

The dripline contains an integrated drip head every 30 cm, each delivering a constant 1.6 litres per hour. Drip heads are pressure‑compensating to ensure even irrigation across different heights and slopes. A labyrinth self‑cleaning design with root barrier prevents blockages when the line is installed underground. The line can be connected and reconfigured quickly using separately available 13 mm connectors with patented Quick & Easy connection technology; components are reusable and designed for repeated use without damage.

How to use

Plan the irrigation layout and connect the dripline to the Micro‑Drip system or a suitable water source using the 13 mm connectors. Lay the line along the plant row either on the surface or bury it shallowly for hidden installation. Ensure the drip heads face the plants and fix the line in place if necessary. After connecting to the water supply, run the system and check for even water emission along the length. For slopes, pressure‑compensating drip heads keep the flow consistent.

Recommendations

For best results, use the Drip Irrigation Line as part of the Micro‑Drip‑System and follow local watering needs: adjust irrigation frequency and duration to plant type, soil type and seasonal requirements. Store connectors and reusable components dry when not in use to prolong service life.
