Gaming Mouse Steelseries Aerox 3 Wireless Ghost

The Steelseries Aerox 3 Wireless Ghost is a right-handed gaming mouse engineered for low weight, high accuracy and versatile wireless connectivity. It uses an optical TrueMove Air sensor with up to 18,000 DPI resolution and supports both 2.4 GHz RF Wireless (Quantum 2.0) and Bluetooth connections. The Ghost Edition features a perforated white shell that reduces mass to 68 g, multi-color illumination and an IP54-rated construction that protects internal components from dust and splashes. With six buttons, a responsive scroll wheel and an ultra-thin PCB design, this model balances lightweight handling with extended battery life and robust durability.

Advantages

The Aerox 3 Wireless Ghost delivers very low input latency with a 1 ms response over 2.4 GHz wireless and offers up to 200 hours of battery life in typical use. Its ultra-light 68 g perforated housing and 50% thinner PCB reduce weight while preserving structural strength. IP54 AquaBarrier protection and gold micro switches rated for up to 80 million clicks increase long-term reliability. The mouse includes high-friction PTFE glide skates for smooth movement, fast-charging via USB-C and dual-mode connectivity for desktop and mobile use.

Install SteelSeries Engine or GG software to customize DPI stages, button assignments, polling rate and RGB lighting. Charge the mouse with the supplied USB-C cable; a 15-minute fast charge provides approximately 40+ hours of use. Use claw or fingertip grips for optimal control with the right-handed shape and keep glide skates clean for consistent tracking.

Recommendations

For competitive play, use the 2.4 GHz Quantum 2.0 connection and set DPI and polling rate through SteelSeries software to match your sensitivity preferences. Keep the mouse surface clean and ensure the USB dongle is unobstructed to maintain a stable wireless link. When transporting the mouse, remove the dongle or switch to Bluetooth to avoid losing the receiver.
