The EFB Elektronik PRO-4288TS.P1 freestanding 19" server rack offers a 42U mounting height in a robust steel sheet housing with a screwed frame. The cabinet is pre-assembled, self-ventilated and finished in black with IP20 protection, suitable for housing servers, switches and other 19" equipment. Inside are four galvanised, continuously depth-adjustable 19" profiles (two front, two rear) with reverse numbering of rack units. Front and rear doors use a 3-point turning handle (single-point up to 24U) with a lock and an exchangeable profile half-cylinder (30/10 mm) supplied according to DIN18252 / EN 1303. The cabinet includes internal earthing and a pre-assembled earthing bar at the rear centre.

How to use

Place the freestanding rack on a stable, level floor and ensure sufficient clearance for airflow and service access. Install 19" equipment on the galvanised profiles, adjusting the profile depth to match device depth and using the provided RU markings for correct positioning. Route cables through the pre-punched openings in the roof or base and fit fan units where required. Lock doors and side panels after installation to secure equipment; the profile half-cylinder can be exchanged by the customer if a different lock configuration is required.

Recommendations

Ensure the cabinet is connected to building earthing before installing equipment, distribute heavy equipment evenly to keep the centre of gravity low, and allow space for ventilation and cable management. For side-by-side baying, use the manufacturer baying set or the specified M6 screw set when panels are removed.
