Freestanding rack EFB Elektronik PRO-4282TS.P1P2

Freestanding 42U server rack compliant with DIN41494, designed for indoor IT and networking installations. The steel-sheet housing features a screwed frame and arrives completely pre-assembled. The cabinet is self-ventilated, with detachable panels and front and rear doors secured by lockable 3-point handles (1-point handle for racks up to 24U). Four galvanised 19" profiles (two front, two rear) are included; these are step-less depth-adjustable and numbered contrariwise on the profiles. The unit provides multiple pre-punched cable entry openings in roof and bottom and an internally pre-assembled earthing bar mounted at the rear centre.

How to use

Place the freestanding rack on a level floor and secure it to adjacent cabinets if baying is required. Remove side panels to access the interior and adjust the galvanised 19" profiles to the required depth for your equipment. Mount devices using standard 19" rack hardware and ensure the profile unit numbering is observed. Route cables through the pre-punched openings in the roof or bottom; if needed, install fan units in the openings provided. Exchange the supplied profile half-cylinder lock if a different keying is required (30/10 mm exchangeable by customer).

Recommendations

For safe operation, distribute load evenly across the rack units, connect the cabinet to a suitable earth point using the internal earthing bar, and ensure adequate ventilation or cooling when installing high-power equipment. When placing cabinets side-by-side, use the baying set (Art.-No. PRO-ANR0X) or M6 screw set for permanent fastening.
