The EFB Elektronik PRO-4280GR.G1S1 is a freestanding 19" network cabinet designed for secure indoor installation of IT and network equipment. Constructed from steel sheet with a screwed frame, it arrives completely pre-assembled and offers self-ventilation. The cabinet provides 42U of usable rack space with front and rear 19" profiles that are galvanised and depth-adjustable without steps. The front door includes a 5 mm certified safety glass window and both front and rear doors are lockable with a 3-point turning handle (1-point for up to 24U). The cabinet is finished in RAL7035 light grey and has an IP20 protection rating.

Advantages

The cabinet supports high static loads (max. load up to 1360 kg for deeper models) and includes internal earthing for all sections plus a pre-assembled rear earthing bar. Doors and side panels are detachable and can be fitted with left- or right-sided stops. Roof and bottom have pre-punched cable entry openings and the roof is prepared to accept 2- or 4-fan units. Delivered with practical accessories including brush, captive nuts, earthing cables, levelling feet and keys, the rack is ready for immediate installation.

How to use

Place the cabinet on a level surface and secure the levelling feet. If required, detach side panels or doors to facilitate equipment installation. Mount equipment on the galvanised 19" profiles using the supplied captive nuts; adjust profile depth as needed. Route cables through the pre-punched roof or bottom openings and install fan units or filter modules in the roof or bottom openings as required. Connect the earthing bar and earthing cables to building ground according to local regulations. Lock front and rear doors with the included profile half-cylinder to restrict access.

For safe and reliable operation, distribute equipment weight evenly and respect the maximum load rating. Use the designated cable entry points and maintain unobstructed airflow through fan units; ensure earthing connections are verified by qualified personnel.
