Freestanding rack Digitus DN-31124 Unique Series 800x1000 mm

The DIGITUS Unique Series freestanding rack DN-31124 (800 x 1000 mm) is a 42U indoor network cabinet designed for professional IT infrastructure. Constructed from up to 1.5 mm sheet steel and finished with electrostatic powder coating in grey (RAL 7035), the cabinet offers an IP20 protection rating, a maximum mounting depth of 743 mm and a load capacity up to 800 kg. The rack comes pre-assembled with two pairs of adjustable 483 mm (19") profile rails labeled in RU, removable side panels and doors, and a special roof design for fan modules.

Advantages

The cabinet features a removable offset cover with ventilation slits and a dedicated roof construction that accepts a fan unit with an unmountable lid, facilitating improved airflow and optional active cooling. Cable management is supported by sliding cable entry with rubber sealing at the base, brush-equipped inlets in roof and floor (from 26U and 800 mm width), vertical cable channels (for 800 mm width cabinets), and brush management panels above and below the rear door. How to use

Place the freestanding rack on a flat, stable surface and adjust the feet for level installation. If required, mount the fan module on the specially designed roof section and secure the removable lid. Install equipment onto the adjustable 19" profile rails, setting the required depth and securing rails to the depth bars. Route cables through the sliding floor entry with rubber sealing or through roof and floor brush inlets; use the vertical cable channels and brush management panels to organise cabling. Lock the front door using the pivot-lever lock and the provided adapter for a profile half cylinder where needed.

Recommendations

For optimal cooling and cable management, use the roof fan option together with organised cable routing through the brush inlets and vertical channels. Ensure the rack is installed indoors in an environment appropriate for IP20-rated enclosures and do not exceed the specified maximum load and mounting depth.
