The DIGITUS Dynamic Basic Series freestanding rack DN-19 SRV-26U-D is a 19" server cabinet with external dimensions 600 x 1000 mm and a rack capacity of 26U. Constructed from up to 1.5 mm sheet steel and finished with electrostatic powder coating in grey (RAL 7035), the cabinet is designed for cost-optimized network expansion and general IT infrastructure use. It provides IP20 protection and a maximum load capacity of 600 kg. The roof includes pre-cut areas for fan modules and the base has a covered, punched cable entry protected by a screwed metal plate. Removable side panels and lockable, removable perforated front and rear doors with reversible hinges improve accessibility and serviceability.

How to use

Place the freestanding rack on a level, stable surface and secure its feet according to the installation environment. Install equipment into the adjustable 19" profile rails, aligning devices to the rack unit markings. Route power and data cabling through the rear central floor entry or the side/roof inlets as required; cover unused openings with the supplied plates. If cooling modules are needed, mount fan units in the prepared roof cut-outs. Side panels and the perforated front and rear doors can be removed for easier access during installation and maintenance.

Recommendations

For optimal ventilation and load distribution, ensure at least 5–10 cm clearance around the rack, mount heavier equipment toward the bottom, and use proper cable management and PDUs. Verify the IP20 rating is appropriate for the installation environment and avoid locations with significant dust or moisture exposure.
