Food cover Xavax M-Capo Transparent PU plastic

The Xavax M-Capo food cover is a transparent PU plastic dome designed for heating and protecting food in the microwave and for general tabletop protection. With a height of 103 mm and a diameter of 26 cm, it reduces the effective cooking space to shorten heating time, contains splashes and keeps food visible while protecting it from dust and insects. The cover includes a large, especially high central handle and centred steam vents to allow built-up steam to escape safely.

How to use

Place the Xavax M-Capo cover over the plate or bowl before heating in the microwave, ensuring the vents are unobstructed. The cover can also be placed over food on the table to protect it from dust and insects. To remove, grasp the high central handle and lift away from the dish; allow steam to dissipate through the vents before reaching directly over the opening.

Recommendations

Do not use the cover on open flames or in oven units not suitable for plastic. Clean with warm soapy water and avoid abrasive cleaners. Check for damage before use and replace if cracked or deformed.
