Before you believe a bad review about us

We would like to respond openly to every negative review about us. Many are posted anonymously, so we cannot reach those customers directly. This open letter is our reply, and we would be grateful if you took a moment to read it.

But here is what a one-star review will never tell you:

  • We import from 70+ official distributors. That is why you pay far less than local retail — and why delivery takes longer. We publish the date before you pay, never after.
  • You can pay only when your goods land in Johannesburg. Pay on Arrival, no full payment up front. Ask yourself what scammer offers that.
  • Nobody has ever lost money with us. You get the product, or you get a refund. There is no third option, and there never has been.
  • We are part of the ITwork group — ten years trading in Europe, nine stores, thousands of positive reviews.
  • Johannesburg and Cape Town stores open this year — real shelves, real stock, walk in and buy the same day.

We are not satisfied with our review scores, and we are not going to fix them by hiding anything. We are fixing them by being faster, clearer and easier to reach than any reason to complain.

Read the full letter — photos and video of real shipments, and a straight answer to every accusation.

Problem with an order right now? Write to [email protected], [email protected] or [email protected] — answered the same business day. The letter also lists our group and store owners' contacts.

The Honor Magic V5 in Black is a foldable smartphone with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. Closed, it slips into a pocket like an ordinary handset; opened, the inner screen gives you room for two apps side by side, which suits people who answer email while checking a spreadsheet, or who read on the move without carrying a separate tablet.

Pick this 16 GB / 512 GB configuration if you keep many apps running at once and prefer to store your photos and video on the phone rather than pay for cloud space. Before buying, check that any case or screen protector is made specifically for this folding model, and confirm with your network which bands and SIM types your plan requires.

Foldables also reward a little care: keep the hinge free of grit and avoid closing the phone on objects. In stock and available in South Africa from DistriNode.

Frequently asked questions

How much storage and memory does the Honor Magic V5 have?

This version has 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage, in the Black colour.

Who is a foldable like the Magic V5 for?

People who want a larger screen for multitasking, reading and video without carrying a tablet, and who are happy to handle the hinge with some care.

What should I check before buying?

That any case or screen protector is designed for this folding model, and that your mobile network plan supports the bands and SIM type the handset uses.

The Honor Magic V5 foldable smartphone in Black pairs a flexible inner display with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage to support multitasking and large local media libraries. The design folds to a compact footprint for easier transport while offering a larger unfolded screen for productivity, media viewing and split-screen apps. Performance-oriented memory and substantial on-device storage enable smooth app switching, file access and retention of photos and videos without relying exclusively on cloud services.

Advantages

The device combines a high-capacity RAM configuration with substantial internal storage to reduce app reloads and provide room for large photo and video libraries. The foldable display expands usable screen area for multitasking, side-by-side apps and immersive media playback, while the compact folded form factor improves portability. Built-in hardware and software optimization deliver responsive navigation, fast app switching and improved handling of complex workflows.

Suitable for

  • Mobile multitasking with multiple apps open simultaneously
  • On-device storage of large photo and video collections
  • Media consumption such as streaming and reading on a larger unfolded display
  • Frequent travelers who need a compact device with expanded screen when required
  • Users who run memory-intensive apps like productivity suites or advanced browsers

Key specifications

  • Form factor: foldable smartphone with inner folding display
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM for multitasking and app responsiveness
  • Internal storage: 512 GB for apps, media and files
  • Color: Black finish
  • Connectivity: standard mobile network, Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth capabilities (device-dependent)
  • Camera and media: integrated cameras and media playback optimized for the larger unfolded screen (specifications vary by configuration)

How to use

Open the device carefully along the hinge to access the larger inner display for multitasking or media playback; close it when you prefer a compact footprint for pocketing and commuting. Use the system settings to allocate memory and storage preferences, enable split-screen or multi-window modes for parallel app use, and configure cloud backup if desired while taking advantage of the on-device 512 GB capacity for offline storage. Install and update applications through the device’s application store and manage large media files using the built-in file manager or gallery app.

Recommendations

Keep the foldable display clean and avoid applying excessive force to the hinge. Use a compatible protective case and follow manufacturer guidance for software updates to maintain performance. For optimal battery and storage management, periodically remove unused apps, move seldom-accessed files to external or cloud storage, and enable power-saving modes during extended travel.
