Floor-standing rack Outwell 651011 Aluminium Silver 1100mm

The Outwell floor-standing drying rack in silver is an aluminium clothes airer with a compact foldable design and a 1100 mm width. Standing 1420 mm tall, it offers a stable frame and multiple drying rails to hold laundry for both indoor and outdoor use. The lightweight construction and fast open-and-fold operation make it suitable for camping and other temporary setups where quick assembly and small packed size matter.

Advantages

Constructed from aluminium for corrosion resistance and low weight, the rack folds and unfolds in seconds and packs down to a small size for transport. Its 1100 mm width and 1420 mm height provide generous drying space while the freestanding design requires no wall mounting and works on uneven ground.

Suitable for

• Drying clothes and towels at campsites
• Indoor use in caravans, campervans or utility rooms
• Temporary drying needs during travel or small-space living

When it may not be suitable

This model is designed for light to medium laundry loads; it may not be ideal for very heavy or bulky items such as multiple wet blankets. Extremely windy conditions could affect stability despite the freestanding frame, so additional anchoring may be needed outdoors.

Key specifications

• Material: aluminium frame with silver finish
• Width: 1100 mm
• Height: 1420 mm
• Design: freestanding, foldable
• Weight: lightweight construction for portability

How to use

Unfold the rack by releasing any transport catches and extending the legs until the frame locks into place. Place wet garments across the rails with heavier items near the frame for balance. After use, fold the rack flat and secure any latches for compact storage or transport.

What to consider before purchase

• Suitability for heavy or bulky laundry items
• Required stability in windy outdoor conditions
• Available storage space when folded

Recommendations

Position the rack on level ground and distribute items evenly across the rails. For outdoor use in strong wind, weight the base or use additional anchors to improve stability.
