How to use

Mount the unit using the supplied tilt/swivel bracket and install the CHIRP transducer on the transom or trolling motor following the provided hardware instructions. Power on the device, allow the built-in GPS to acquire a satellite fix, and use the sonar display to view bottom contours, fish arches and depth. Mark waypoints directly from the screen when you find fish or useful locations, and follow the waypoint map to navigate back to them. Use the on-screen speed readout to adjust trolling speed and switch to the flasher view when fishing vertically or ice fishing.

Recommendations

For improved CHIRP performance at varying depths consider upgrading to a GT8 or GT15 high-performance transducer (sold separately).
