Extension module Satel INT-GSM LTE

The SATEL INT-GSM LTE extension module adds cellular communication and wired bus connectivity to compatible INTEGRA and INTEGRA Plus alarm control panels. Designed for integration with the control panel’s keypad bus, the module supports 2G/3G/4G (LTE) networks and dual SIM operation. All cellular transfers are encrypted using AES-192, enabling secure event reporting to monitoring stations, SMS recipients and, when used with INTEGRA Plus, to e-mail addresses. The compact module measures 80 mm in width, 57 mm in depth and weighs 44 g, and operates from a 12 V supply.

How to use

Install the INT-GSM LTE module on the control panel’s keypad bus following the manufacturer’s installation instructions and supply it with 12 V. Insert one or two SIM cards and configure network preferences and notification priorities through the control panel’s programming interface. When used together with an ETHM-1 Plus Ethernet module, configure the priority of reporting channels to enable Dual Path Reporting. To enable remote management, install the INTEGRA CONTROL app on mobile devices for PUSH notifications and use SATEL connection services or UpServ software for remote configuration and firmware updates.

Recommendations

Place the module where it receives adequate cellular signal strength and protect it from moisture and extreme temperatures. Configure dual-SIM and channel priorities to ensure continuous connectivity: set Ethernet as primary and cellular as backup when ETHM-1 Plus is present, or prioritize cellular paths where Ethernet is unavailable. Regularly check for firmware updates and apply them via RS-232 or the UpServ service to maintain security and compatibility.
